BARRUOL

This historic wine estate at the heart of the Gigondas appellation has been in the Barruol family since 1490. A number of extremely well-preserved wine-making vats have been discovered in the grounds, carved out of the rock and dating back to Gallo-Roman times.

The estate measures some 22 hectares, and vines have an average age of 60. The family sell their own estate wines alongside the wines they make as négociant-éleveurs.
