COHOLA

Maison Rouge Wines – Château COHOLA, making, maturing and bottling fine wines in the Rhône Valley.

The company was founded in 2002 by Jérôme and Cheli Busato. Jérôme Busato is the agriculturalist and winemaker, while Cheli Alberca manages the company. Here they say a few words about themselves, their business and their wines:

“We spent a good 12 years travelling the vineyards of Spain and France. We spent time in Bordeaux and Burgundy, and then went on to Spain; but eventually we came back to the south of France.

“In 2002 we settled in Bédarrides near Châteauneuf du Pape, and started bottling our own wines – we made them specially to reflect our personalities. Then in 2013 we acquired a magnificent vineyard in Sablet - Château COHOLA, whose aim is to bring you quality and happiness through wine.

“Our Cor Hominis Laetificat range, also known as COHOLA, sums up what we look for in our wines: It’s the Latin for ‘the heart of man rejoices’ – or, to put it simply – ‘Enjoy!’

“After just one glass, you’ll want to drink the whole bottle with a smile.”
